Two emails arrived in my box yesterday. They included a video and images. They are about the same subject – the cost of freedom. They are reminders.
About the pics:
They were loved by many. They were from the farms and the small towns. They were from the big cities. Many didn’t wait to be drafted. They left empty beds in every state.
There was a sad look from Mom each day. Dads could only tear.
I will never forget.
