This is a visualization of the frequency of the phrases ‘acid rain’, ‘global warming’ and ‘climate change’ in New York Times articles since 1981.

This story would have interested me even if I hadn’t experienced the past summer. You see, since I have been in Arkansas 18 or so years, I can’t recall a summer as mild as this one. We have had very few days over 100 degrees. Last year I think we had at least 5 times more than this year. Summer isn’t over. Maybe we’ll have a hot September to “make up” for the lower average temperatures.

Interesting post, I have come onto a program that has links to this climate change info. i may do a post on it, if I can sneak it past my editor (my wife) who reminds me I am doing only posts on Christian topics. 🙂
Hi Manny.
I think, if you share this link with your wife, she will agree that it is a Christian topic:

The man who started the organization mentioned in the link is a brilliant man who spent time debating cult leaders with the Great Walter Martin. The example below has to do with a debate about the Trinity on the John Ankerberg Show years ago.

Oh, I’m not sure Chris. Google ” is global warming real” and you get several numbers of pros and cons. I’m afraid I have to remain neutral, as the jury is still out. I read not long ago from a chemistry prof at ualr said alot more environment data needs to be collected. blessings, Kassey
Fair enough, Kassey.
As Gary states in the video, some think we’re headed for another ice age. There are all kinds of opinions. I guess what bothers me the most about this topic is that many have made lots of money on the “global warming industry” when, for many, the jury is still out. I don’t mind it when folks make an honest dollar. It’s when they make it off of the fear of others that I think it crosses the line.
Thanks for commenting. I see you have a new post up. I’ll get to it tomorrow as it is late. Happy Birthday! (It’s that late) I hope you have a great day.
BTW..if you ever get really interested in this topic, there is a link in my links section:

It is the best source I have found for the “other” side of the issue.
