Call me a cheap skate, I didn’t want to run out and buy Mr. Hagee’s popular best-selling book so I did a bit of research on the internet.   I know Mr. Hagee can preach a good sermon and I appreciate his support of Israel.  I’m not particularly fond of his fund raising practices for the WOF network TBN.

Recently, there has been much discussion about the upcoming Tetrad: When four consecutive lunar eclipses are all total eclipses.  I have known of this event for some time, as J.R. Church and Gary Stearman brought it to my attention years ago.

Like James Ussher’s Chronology, J.R. Church’s last book attempted to line up historical events with Biblical dates.  J.R.’s calendar went to 2024 in the back of his last book “Daniel Reveals the Bloodline of the Antichrist.”  BTW…I think Mr. Ussher did a great work.

HERE is the best article that I could find online that discusses this subject.  I knew there were other tetrads besides the ones Mr. Hagee is focusing on and this outlines them.  In fairness to Mr. Hagee, I haven’t read his book I have only heard him talk about the subject and when he did he only mentioned the Tetrads of 1948, 1967, and the one upcoming.  He may have included the ones mentioned HERE.

I find this a fascinating subject and, as I heard a Jewish scholar “in the know” say today that the U.S. would probably not help Israel defend itself against Iran, there could be something to this upcoming tetrad event.

I am not a date setter.  Read the article and tell me what you think.

  1. Interesting… I tried taking photos of large reddish looking moons and they look very unimpressive in the photo 🙂

I believe there will be serious cosmic repercussions with respect to the verses from Joel and Acts quoted in the article. I tend to think that this series of eclipses are not under that scriptural category…

      Hi Delight.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. I don’t know what to make of all of this, except that we are told by our Lord to “watch” and that’s what I intend to do. We are also told that “no man knows the hour.” I am very leery of anyone setting dates. It will be interesting to see if there is any spiritual significance to these upcoming blood moons.

It sounds like you’ll have a few chances in the next few years to get some good pics, if nothing else.

Always glad when you stop by my friend.

      God’s blessings…
