one God over another

instant gratification

The world may decide,
in God they don’t believe
but I choose Jesus . . .
and not to be deceived.
The world may opt for,
the desires of the flesh
but I choose Jesus . . .
to keep my soul afresh.
The world may elect,
a man to be their God
but I choose Jesus . . .
to spare me from His rod.
The world may want,
to pursue after lust
but I choose Jesus . . .
in whom I put my trust.
