The Bridge ~

Deborah Ann writes about the true bridge over troubled waters. My wife and I lived near the Golden Gate bridge in the early ’80s. I’ve seen the bridge sway during a harsh storm; concrete, steel, and cable being tossed around like a feather in the wind. It was amazing that it survived with the little damage that it did. Jesus is our refuge in the storm. Another excellent effort by the best poet I know….

There is a bridge you can take,
it leads to water’s living . . .
it’s there you’ll find peace
merciful and forgiving.

Over trials and tribulations,
it will take you across
the span of His loving hands
will lead you to the cross.

It is a bridge of assurance,
trouble waters will not last
and for you He has a future
much better than the past.

The hardships in this life,
will take faith to get through
and Jesus is the bridge linking
His Father right to you!

John 14:6
King James Version

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way,
the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

You’re welcome, Manny. Deborah puts one up almost daily. She has a gift. Just a few days ago, 3 of her poems were in my top 10 blog posts.

I always appreciate your comments, my friend.
