Deborah Ann has written a poem that fits beautifully as a wrap up for my experiences this week.
To draw closer to God,
we must be willing
to open our hearts
to spiritual healing.
Healing of the pain,
others inflected on us
healing of the hurt
so we can learn to trust.
To draw closer to God,
we must be open to
letting His Spirit
make all things new.
Newness of thought,
transformation of mind
letting go of the old
so peace we can find.
To draw closer to God,
we must be willing . . .
to make room in our hearts
for His Spirit’s indwelling!
