A wise saying… and very true!
Thank you for your comment, Elizabeth. I hope all is well there!
Thanks Chris.. I wouldn’t know where to start but I’d appreciate prayer in general. These are hard days in many ways but it’s good to have the Lord as our Advocate.
Okay, Elizabeth. That’s all I need to know. I will update my comments that I’ve made about you on my prayer list. Thank you for letting me know. Sending prayers to God on your behalf.
I appreciate this quote from John Trapp. The Holy Spirit definitely uses our knowledge of Scripture to correct us when we get off course.
Thanks for your comment, Tom. Besides Richard Baxter and his “Directions for profitable Reading the Holy Scriptures,” John Trapp is the first guy I’ve quoted twice.
My understanding is that he was quite the author. His works are listed here if interested:

Thanks for the info, Chris!
You’re welcome, Tom!
as it should be…
well shared, Chris…🤍
Thank you for your reply, destiny. I wish you a wonderful day!
pleasure…and wishing the same your way, Chris…🤍
Thank you!
Wow so true
Amen
That’s a good one, Chris!
Thanks, Cathy. It is my second quote from him and it probably won’t be the last. He was a pretty prolific writer.
So thought provoking–thank you Chris!
You’re welcome, Katie, and thank you for you kind reply!
