Recently, Bruce Cooper posted the following article. I found it provided clarity in a world that speaks so much of Jesus but seems to hardly know the Jesus described in the Bible. To know who Jesus is, one must turn to the Bible. It is where we get our knowledge. Here Bruce takes the words of scripture and provides a good glimpse into who our Savior is. The best way to build on this knowledge is to read and study the Bible for yourself.

From the Garden to Glory by Bruce Cooper
March 20, 2026I just finished reading From the Garden to Glory by Bruce Cooper who blogs at the REASONED CASES FOR CHRIST blog. I think every Christian could benefit greatly from reading this excellent work. Bruce examines how God revealed Himself gradually over time, with the Old Testament setting the stage and the New Testament providing fulfillment. Instead of organizing doctrine by topic (like Systematic Theology), it tracks the unfolding story of salvation chronologically (redemption history). Bruce covers the entire Bible in 136 pages.
