I think Bill Salus MAY be onto something.

PSALM 83 AND THE UPCOMING MIDDLE EAST WAR

I have to admit that Prophecy in the News has some strange speakers at their prophecy conferences.  However, I’ve never seen Gary set a date and many of his guests contribute some thought-provoking ideas.

I feel these great guys are on to something, but it is a little shallow and iffy. I base my beliefs on a two set dvd by Joel Richardson entitled “Islam and the end times.” I believe too many prophesy folks base everything on Israel’s moves. They are not who to watch, It is Islam who is to be watched.

All of Islam is scattered, since the last Calipah (Leader of a united Islam) stepped down and ended his reign.1920-30. Since then all of Islam is trying to get back together with all these splinter groups, Hezbollah, Muslim brotherhood, Al’kidah etc. They won’t succeed until the new Calipah comes to power from within Turkey.

He will lead a successful war (as leader of all of Islam) against Israel who will lose two-thirds of its people in this war; when the Lord will step in. Please remember the goal of Islam is world domination achieved through the vehicle of Islamic religion.

As usual Americans base everything on our role(and interpretations) in end-times which is just about non-existent as Atlantis.

I think we all remember the wild predictions of others in years back such as Doug Clark who has faded off the prophecy stage.

On this one we disagree, Manny.

At the same time, thank you for sharing your position.

I do think that Islam is a huge piece of the puzzle, but I believe like Gary Stearman that Israel is God’s timepiece.

I’m with you that the goal of many Muslims is world domination. I also think that God has used America to help Israel reestablish itself in the land. I’m not going to say the the U.S. is mentioned in prophecy, but I think the severity of our Judgment will be related to our support of Israel.

The one thing I agree with Bill Salus on is the war he is referring to. In it, Israel will expand its land holdings and the Muslims will be driven back.

Of course, both of us and Joel, Gary, and Bill are speculating. This is the one thing I like about Gary. He refuses to put certain dates on prophetic events.

One question: Do you believe that the Anti-Christ will be a Muslim?

As I write this I’m listening to Gary interview Tom Horn. At this point I’m not a big fan of Mr. Horn. There is a difference when speculation comes from the Bible and when it comes from extra-Biblical sources.

However it happens, I’m waiting for Jesus with you my friend.

      God’s blessings…

BTW…I’ve never heard of Doug Clark. Gary’s been doing this for 30 years. However, I know that longevity doesn’t make one correct.

  2. Mannyr says:

I am not sure if the Anti-Christ will be Muslim. I think probably a big church leader. Doug Clark was a big prophecy man back 30 years ago on T.B.N. I don’t do T.B.N.. He had a lot to say about Ezkeiel 38,39 etc. then one day he just disappeared.

    Blessings to you and yours.

    • Chris says:

Thanks for sharing your opinion, Manny.

Joseph Farah of World Net Daily believes that the Anti-Christ will be a Muslim. I don’t think so. I think it will someone of Jewish descent probably from the tribe of Dan. Just a guess.

Thank you for your kind words.

Blessings to you and yours, also.

    Chris,
I too heard about this idea that Isalm would play a crucial role in the end times, but that was back in early 1982. I’ve also heard that the Biblical Antichrist could well be a man from the tribe of Dan too.

It does tend to fit a pattern: of the 12 tribes that Jacob prophesied over just before his death, Dan came off the worst – he had committed adultry with one of Jacob’s concubines, thus greatly dishonouring himself through an act of betrayal.

Judas (although not of the tribe of Dan,) was one of the twelve apostles, who betrayed Christ, in a very ‘antichrist’ manner – and over money!

It would not surprise me at all, if the ‘Man of Sin’ was either a Danite, or prhaps even an Edomite (modern day descendants of Abraham, via Ishmael) who also committed some significant act of betrayal towards the nation of Israel…

    For what it’s worth…

So glad you stopped by, Austin.

I also think it is a good chance that the Anti-Christ will come from the tribe of Dan. I also think, like you, that he must be a descendant of Abraham. It is interesting to note, as you have, that this idea is really nothing new. Those in tune with prophetic scriptures have, I’m sure, come to similar conclusions over the years. Things are heating up in Iran, Egypt, and the entire region it seems. Will we see a war soon. Of course, only God knows.

      Always appreciate your comments, brother.

      God’s blessings…
