A current goal of this blog is to post things that I think can assist Christian believers in their walk with God. Whenever I stumble upon something that fits that description for me I think others might be helped by it as well. Here is another jewel that I very recently discovered. It is written by Bruce Cooper who is the author of the blog “REASONED CASES FOR CHRIST.” For some reason I was unable to re-blog the post where Bruce linked to this work. If you wish to see the post, you can click on
The Sharing of a Journey
In the post, Bruce links to a PDF (all of his PDFs are free) with the above title. If you wish to go straight to this piece, you can click on this link:
The Kingdom of God, The Human Heart, and The Means Ordained by God
If you are wired like me, once you start this you won’t be able to put it down or you will download it for later.
I hope you are blessed by this work as much as I was.

Many thanks for sharing these links, Chris. It’s good and profitable to read articles which help us on our Christian walk.
You’re welcome, Elizabeth. I appreciate your comment and wish you all the best.
God’s blessings…
Thank you very much, Chris, for the repost. Sincerely appreciated! Blessings!
You’re welcome, Bruce! I never did get back to you and give you any feedback on this PDF. I figured this post would say a lot about my opinion.
Once I started reading this, I had to continue until the end. It flows so well and I really liked this format. This piece resonated strongly with my understanding of the scriptures. It is clear and easily followed even by a second-string layman like me. I know one of your goals is to communicate with the layman. You have been successful here. Thank you again for sharing! This was a true blessing.
God’s blessings…
So glad to hear. Thank you, Chris! Blessings!
You’re welcome, Bruce!
What stood out to me here was not only the theological depth, but the desire to make it understandable and genuinely useful for ordinary believers trying to walk faithfully with God day by day.
That kind of clarity is rarer than people realize. Sometimes the most helpful spiritual writing is not the loudest or most complicated, but the kind that quietly helps truth become more visible and livable.
And the pottery image fits beautifully alongside that theme of patient shaping over time.
Thank you for this thoughtful comment, Livora. I found the exact thing you did, it is understandable and genuinely useful for believers. I’m even hoping unbelievers see this and come to a clearer understanding of the Christian faith.
Yes, this kind of clarity is rare and wonderful. It is, indeed, “the kind that quietly helps truth become more visible and livable.”
Thank you again for this good review. I hope you have a great day!
A brief and focused blog introduction explaining the site’s purpose of supporting Christian believers through thoughtful reflections and faith-based resources. ✨📖
That is a good description of this blog, Safia. Thank you. I also hope unbelievers feel comfortable looking at some of the things I share and that it makes them think about the God of the Bible.
Good stuff
It is, indeed, Pastor Jim.
=)
Thank you for sharing this wonderful discovery, Chris. There is something truly special about passing along resources that have nourished our own faith journey, and your generosity in doing so is deeply appreciated.
I was particularly touched by your desire to encourage fellow believers in their walk with God. In a world overflowing with distractions, finding a “jewel” that invites us to reflect more deeply on the Kingdom of God and the condition of the human heart is a blessing indeed. Your enthusiasm is contagious—when a piece of writing captures both the mind and the spirit, it becomes difficult to set aside.
Thank you for your kind words, Vijay. I really appreciate them. This was a work that I couldn’t put down once I started reading it. Anything that has that kind of impact on me is certainly something I always wish to share with others. As you stated, things that invite us to reflect more deeply on the Kingdom of God and the condition of the human heart are true blessings. Again, thank you for your kind words. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much for your gracious response. It truly means a great deal to me.
I was deeply touched to hear that this was a work you simply could not put down once you began reading it. I believe that the most meaningful writings are those that do more than entertain us—they stir something within, inviting us to pause, reflect, and examine our own hearts.
You expressed it beautifully: anything that draws us closer to understanding the Kingdom of God and the condition of the human heart is indeed a blessing. Such works remind us of our shared humanity—our hopes, weaknesses, struggles, and our constant need for grace, compassion, and faith.
You’re welcome, Vijay, and thank you for this nice response. You mentioned our shared humanity: “our hopes, weaknesses, struggles, and our constant need for grace, compassion, and faith.” These are certainly things that make us who we are. I appreciate that you recognize this and are able to articulate it so well. May God bless you my friend.
Thank you, my friend, for your kind and encouraging words. 🙏
I truly believe that beneath our different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, we share many of the same hopes, fears, joys, and struggles. It is this shared humanity that helps us connect with one another and reminds us that none of us walks life’s journey alone.
Hope is such a powerful word. Thank you for this comment, Vijay. When it comes to hope, I think of these words from the Bible:
” God gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus.”
I am thankful to God for the great gift He has given to all of us.
God bless you!
