Amen
His promises are worth more than all the riches of this world.
Thanks for the good excerpt, Chris. Yes, all of the world’s temporal riches are worthless in eternity.
You’re welcome, Tom. It would be just like Bunyan to make a statement like this after spending so many years in jail just because he wanted to preach the gospel. He was truly a rich man.
Amen 🙏

You’re welcome, Pastor Jim!
God bless you
Thanks for sharing this quote, he wrote one of my favorite books The Pilgrims Progress.
You’re welcome, Julie, and you are in very good company. Even though it doesn’t seem as popular today as it once was, it is one of the most read books of all time. Charles Spurgeon loved it and used it in many of his sermon illustrations.
It is one of my favorites as well, in fact I’m trying to think of a book I like better (besides the Bible) and nothing automatically comes into my mind.
By 1938, 250 years after John Bunyan’s death, more than 1,300 editions of the book had been printed.
John Bunyan was a very sincere and devout Christian for sure!
