There would be no life, indeed, there would be nothing, whatsoever without a Creator. Nature – whatever one thinks that is – does not have the ability to create life nor the ability to create itself.
Thank you for your comment, Frank. I have believed the same thing you have stated here for quite some time. I can’t begin to imagine how all that we see in nature somehow happened by itself with no direction. So much of it is so complex. These verses in Colossians 1 discuss our Creator:
13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Spring is a time that I enjoy. There is new life everywhere and the verses above help me understand how all of this got here.
Thanks for sharing, Chris. I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation by Paul Nelson. God’s intricate creation defies evolution happenstance.
You’re welcome, Tom, and I appreciate that you took the time to watch it. I’d never seen parts of the butterfly magnified to that degree. It really is a miraculous creation. Thank you for your comment.
Fascinating!!
I thought so too, Katie. Thank you for stopping by!!
That’s so cool you like butterflies!
Thanks, Pastor Jim!

Despite all wars and man-made and natural disasters, this world and the life on it still exist in all its diversity and have always managed to recover. How is this possible if not through the intervention of a benevolent higher power?
Thank you for stopping by. You have a great question. Because God created our world so perfectly, it has ways of recovering even when humans treat it so badly. There has to be a benevolent higher power and they way you have raised the question shows you believe the same. May God lead us both to the truths about the higher power that exists.
