The Sovereignty of God in the Affairs of Men

April 18, 2016

I like Dan’s view of our “10 minas.” Here is another well-written article from the blogger of The Battle Cry.

In my opinion, it might be a gross understatement to say that we are living in a time of intense turmoil on nearly all fronts, both nationality and internationally, and in every arena (political, cultural, social), the impacts of which are seen and felt inside and outside of the body of Christ, the church. And of course just about everybody has an opinion about what’s causing all the turmoil as well as possible solutions. If you ask the ‘man on the street’ in ‘Anytown’ U.S.A. which issue is the most important you will get all sorts of answers depending on the demographic of the interviewee.

Add a Christian worldview to the mix and we are faced with all of above in light of all what are provided in scripture that speaks to our time, from Old Testament prophecy through Revelation, and all that the Bible speaks of concerning ‘end times’…

Cristian Ionescu: 16th OF APRIL, 2016, A DAY FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS

April 18, 2016

If you want to see worldwide pictures of the Norway protest, rodi’s blog is the place to go. You may not know the Romanian language but pictures speak. Here is one of rodi’s english articles. It talks about a people who understand oppression, the people of Romania. They strike me as a sturdy, humble, and generally God fearing people. I am blessed to know some of them.

This is going to be a classic example of a people with a destiny! Romania is one of the most disadvantaged countries in recorded history. Geographically located at the crossroads between great, aggressive, conquering empires, our country was always paying a high price for that prime location! It was hard to survive there!

It was exhausting just to think about it: from New Zeeland and Australia, across Europe, over the ocean, from coast to coast in North America, closing the circle in Hawaii!

Dozens of cities, tens of thousands of protesters, all with one cause: reunite the Bodnariu children, address the many abuses committed by Barnevernet of Norway against families, Romanians and many other nationalities!

It is true, many in the media are still reluctant to embrace the cause. Not yet, anyway! But, I believe, History will!

This is going to be a classic example of a people with a…

Prof. Marianne H. Skanland speaking at the anti-Barnevernet protest in Oslo

April 18, 2016

I have been blessed to have “met” this wonderful Norwegian woman on Delight in Truth’s blog. I consider her the expert on this subject.

Prof. Marianne H. Skanland speaking at the anti-Barnevernet protest in Oslo. She argues effectively against the “attachment theory” and “behaviorism” which form the foundation of Barnevernet philosophy. Great job, prof. Skanland! Video credit Tancred Production, Vidar Tancred Paulsrud.

The Protests Against Barnevernet Will Continue

April 17, 2016

It is April 17th, 2016. The worldwide protests are over for now. We wait and see if there is any change in the Barnevernet. We begin planting seeds for our next protest.

HERE IS A VERY GOOD ARTICLE PUBLISHED THE DAY BEFORE THE PROTESTS. It includes the video above.

Dr. Chris Prunean speaks in Los Angeles

April 17, 2016

My blogging friend, Chris Prunean, was one of the main speakers and the organizer of the Los Angeles protest against the Child Protective Services in Norway. His blog is called “Delight in Truth.”

I like the challenge he has given to Norway’s Christians.

It is interesting that half of those who belong to the state church in Norway say that they are not Christians. This is a large part of the problem. It is time for the true church in Norway to speak out for human rights in Norway.

WEEKLY WRAP-UP FOR 4-16-2016

April 17, 2016

There were 12 posts added to this blog this week. Two-thirds of the posts have to do with a corrupt system called the Barnevernet, the Norwegian version of our Child Protective Services. I hope you are interested in the subject. If so, please check out “RECENT POSTS” at the right. Also posted are two messages from pastors and one from Greg Hunter whose knowledgeable guest talked about the Middle East. Finally, there is THE COMPETITIVENESS OF MANKIND. My friend Manny called it a: “Cute (short) flick with a point.”

I was fortunate to teach in Garland County Schools and even got a day in at National Park Community College. Classes there include students from many high schools in the area. I taught the criminal justice class.

People have some great educational opportunities in the Hot Springs community.

I hope that all have a wonderful week in the Lord.

Hot Springs Joins the Worldwide protest against Barnevernet

April 16, 2016

I would like to thank Josh Mogovan for filming our event. I also want to thank all of those from the Betania Romanian Church who offered their time, talents, and resources to help make this event possible.

God’s blessings…

Hot Springs Protest Makes the News

April 16, 2016

Brian Smoke of the Arkansas Herald put this together. He happened to be passing by, saw our protest, and brought out his camera. I think he’s done an outstanding job here. Please leave comments telling him that you appreciate that he covered this protest.

Ruth Bodnariu: They Came in “Two Black Cars”

April 15, 2016

This is one of the reasons we pray, walk, sing, and speak in Hot Springs, Arkansas, tomorrow. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS. Click on “Delight in Truth” below to see the short video.

Just in case someone asks why we protest against Barnevernet, just show them this clip from BBC Magazine.

This is the reason we protest. One would think this is a scene out of 1950’s communist Romania.

Unfortunately, this is a regular occurrence in modern Norway when the CPS (Barnevernet) initiates acute emergency removal of children from good homes based on trivial matters. Without investigation and without court order.

Watch and be shocked.

Then go and protest.

Norway’s Barnevernet: They took our four children… then the baby

April 14, 2016

Finally..a major news source has covered the story. It answered a question that I had that I couldn’t find an answer to. It is a good article. I would like to thank my friend Octavian Curpas for sending me the link.

CR

“The case of a young couple in Norway whose five children were taken away by the state has fuelled mounting concern within the country and abroad over its child protection practices. Protesters around the world – and leading Norwegian professionals – say social workers are often too quick to separate children from their families, with too little justification, particularly when parents are immigrants.

“Ruth and Marius’s life was torn apart without warning one Monday afternoon last November when two black cars approached the farm where they live in a remote Norwegian valley. Their two little boys, aged five and two, and their three-month-old baby son, were in their big, bright, modern living room overlooking the steel-grey fjord.”
