God Was Angry

This video was made over 2 1/2 years ago.  J.R. Church was a wonderful Bible teacher.  He is no longer with us, but I have no question as to his eternal dwellings.

Israel is currently having closed meetings among their highest leaders.  It is obvious that Mr. Obama plans on not helping Israel defend itself.  Israel finds itself in a difficult position.  America is in a dangerous situation because our leaders are not blessing Israel.

J.R. says in this video, “You don’t poke God in the eye and get away with it.”

I have one of the two books that J.R. mentions.  It is called “As America Has Done To Israel” by John P. McTernan.

Have you heard of the hurricane named he Great New England Hurricane of 1938?  “Its effect on the Northeast coast is still visible to this day.  It hit Long Island New York with such force that it registered on seismographs from New York to Alaska.”(1)  It would be classified as a category 5 hurricane before making landfall as a category 3.

“Siegfried is a legendary hero in medieval German literature.  He killed a dragon and bathed in its blood, which made his body invulnerable.”(2)

Did you know that a nazi organization (The Bund) was spread across America with sixty-five chapters of and twenty-eight camps in 1938?  The largest camp was similar to Nuremberg (the heart of the Nazi movement in Germany and where the war crimes trials were held after the war), was located in Yaphank, New York, and was called Camp Siegfried.  It was a 45 acre compound located about 60 miles east of New York City on Long Island.

“The Bundists (who inhabited this camp) were serious Nazis who went so far as to begin a petition to amend the Constitution of the United States.  They wanted Jews excluded from all governmental functions.” (3)

“The Great Hurricane of 1938 went directly over Adolf Hitler Street (in Camp Siegfried).  This happened during the time the president of the United States turned his back on Czechoslovakia and the Jews.” (4)

The path of the storm was particularly unusual and may be seen here and here.

I hope our leaders decide to go back to supporting Israel.   If not, the results will be devastating.

Interesting…Chris, to me there are a couple of striking corollaries in here. For one, Camp Siegfried was “judged” by the hurricane as Nuremburg was “judged” by the war crime trials. In both places it seems there is a common struggle to overcome evil and reestablish the common good, yes? wow. And second, not to paint the camp with a coat of approval, but the hero Siegfried in the literature is a caricature (&counterfelit?) of Michael the archangel (mentioned in Daniel 3 times and Jude, Revelation). As a matter of fact, in the Jewish liturgy Michael was revered as a mediator for the Jews (much to the chagrin of the Rabbis incidentally), nevertheless, Siegfried wanted to devour the dragon and the Jews in the camp. Michael fought for the good angels and fights for us against Satan as per this old St. Michael’s prayer: “Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
    May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Divine Power of God –
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.” Boy, isn’t that the truth? Interesting post!!

Always so glad when you comment, Kassie. You make some very good observations as always. I particularly like your statement “In both places it seems there is a commmon struggle to overcome evil and reestablish the good.” Having recently seen the 1961 classic “Judgment at Nuremberg” staring Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, Richard Widmark, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Maximillian Shell, and Montgomery Clift, there is little doubt that the objective at Nuremberg was to reestablish the good. The movie was nominated for 11 Academy Awards including Best Picture.
There is no question that Michael is on our side but my opinion is that he was an angel created by God, and a very special one at that. We know only a few of the angel’s names. In my case, I wouldn’t pray to Michael although I believe God’s angels watch over us. And, of course, you probably know that I believe all Christians are saints. There are many examples in scripture, one in the introduction of Paul’s letter to the Colossians. He writes: “To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
When I say the Lord’s prayer I am, in effect, saying a similar prayer but to my Father in heaven. It’s the “lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil” part.
The general point that you are making is well taken: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” -1 Peter 5:8
As you have written, “Isn’t that the truth?” I’m glad you found the post interesting.

      God’s blessings…
