My favorite contemporary scientist for years has been Dr. Robert Gentry. He went into the presence of the Lord in January. I respect him greatly because of the personal sacrifices he made to follow where the scientific evidence led him.
Now, among living scientists, I would have to put Dr. James Tour as my favorite. His resume far exceeds that of Dr. Gentry which in no way lessens the greatness of Mr. Gentry in my mind.
This is a very interesting discussion between two Scientists who happen to be Christians. (Or should I say “Christians who happen to be scientists?”)

Thank you for letting Dan know for me, Pastor Jim. This has been a problem off and on for me for the past couple of years.
I’m well, thank you. Lots of rain here in Arkansas but we had fewer cases of the Covid today so hopefully that begins a trend.
The family is fine as well. I praise God for His many blessings.
Had a huge oak tree snap off on the fence line between neighbor’s house and a home I am working on. Most of it fell into the yard I am responsible for. Before all the rain came in, I got most of it cut up but still need to do quite a bit of clean up. If you lived closer you could have all the free fire wood you wanted if interested. I was very thankful that it didn’t hit the house but only took out some of the wooden fence between the properties.
I continue to try and keep up with what is going on in the churches. I saw this the other day and it upset me. It is about the church that Martin Luther King Jr. and his father preached in.

You have probably already heard of the study done by Legionier and Lifeway that found that 52% of Americans now believe that Jesus was not God but that He was just a good man. Even worse, about 30% of people who call themselves “Evangelicals” believe the same thing.

Indeed, We are living in a day and age of strange theologies.
The tree incident was very unique. It’s huge trunk snapped off about 15 off of the ground. I broke in half like a match stick and it is a big tree.
