“On Nov. 6, America will go to the polls and elect the next president as well as members of the House and Senate. In advance of this vote, most Americans believe that the chief issue facing the country is the ailing economy. I want to make the case that this thinking is wrong-headed and that the transcendent issue of this election is abortion.”
This begins an article by Denny Burk published today on the Bible Prophecy Blog. Mr. Burk Makes a good case for the title of his article. You can read his article here.
Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about abortion. It is an unavoidable topic.
CR
Chris, a very compelling piece. Another point that interests me is if there is a connecton or correlation of legalized abortion with other social ills like the bad economy and the breakdown of the family, particularly same sex marriage. Sociologists all seem to be liberals so I don’t think any of them would do a study and look at abortion like that. In any event, I am proud to be a “single issue voter.” blessings Kassie
A great point, Kassie. We condone sin and wonder why our country is falling apart? The connection is unquestionable. I only wish there were more “single issue voters” like you.
God’s blessings…
We are in a ship of fools. Liberal society floats all the scum to the top and thinks it is the way to go.I like to think of liberalism in terms of todays society, kids with their pants half off and thinking they are somehow different. A belt or suspenders meet the intended need.
It spares us from this veiled attempt to moon us if we do not agree.
Please count me in as a “single issue voter.”
Done, Manny. There is no issue more important. It stems from a general worldview that is not Biblical. God have mercy on us.
