SHOW ME JESUS CHRIST

There is no picture worthy of these words. This was the last post on Pearl’s blog, which I miss very much. It was titled “Be Thus Minded” and she posted this a little over a year ago.  Although I wish Pearl hadn’t decided to stop blogging, what an awesome way to finish.

CR

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

I Corinthians 13:1-13

Hi Sandy. It is so good to hear from you (Not sure which Bill you are referring to). I will surely check the link today. I have not seen this video. I hope all is well with the family. Bet the girls are all grown up now.

After viewing the “World’s Last Chance,” I will make a comment here.

      God’s blessings…

I watched the entire video, Sandy. It is a very interesting thesis backed by historical information. I agree with much of it, particularly the statements about knowing our scriptures and that we are possibly very near to the return of our Lord. Anyone who reads this blog knows that I watch God’s timepiece (Israel) closely. I like it that the video doesn’t set a date for the return of Jesus.

We will soon find out if World’s Last Chance is correct in its views. Will Pope John Paul II be “Resurrected” to be impersonated by a demon?

This is where the video and I part. I do think that the next Pope could very possibly be the last Pope. I don’t agree with the identities of the 8 kings as seen by WLC. I’m not an expert on Revelation so I speculate as well. I don’t know who they were or are, but I think the kings mentioned in Rev. 17 were spread out over a longer time period. I read somewhere that:

“The ”Five who have fallen” can be none other than the only five Caliphs (kings) the Islamic Empire has ever known since its inception in the sixth century A.D. 1. Muhammad, 2. Abu Bakr, 3. Omar, 4. Umar and 5. Ali.

This is absurd, but only one of many crazy ideas.

I have always been curious as to the identity of “Mystery Babylon” mentioned in Rev. 17 and 18. Going against the mainstream protestant (and some of the old greats), I do not take a position on what it is. Is it the Catholic Church? I don’t know.

Thank you for sharing this view. And I’m glad you commented. It is always so nice to hear from you.

Kim says “Hi.” We hope you are all well.

God’s blessings and keep looking up…
