What about Damascus? Right now very interesting things are happening in Syria. You would have to be deaf not to have at least heard a bit about it. I am posting three videos. The first was made about a week or so ago. The second is a post from this blog almost a year ago. The third was put up yesterday. They are all from Prophecy in the News, a ministry that I don’t always agree with, but find most interesting.

17 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
My thoughts:
I believe this is a prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled. It’s like the prophecies concerning the rapture. We look for signs but we don’t know when these prophecies will come to pass. Either could happen tonight. Either could happen in 100 years or more. It is very possible the prophecy that Isaiah spoke of in 17:1 could happen very soon. What will God use to destroy Damascus? It could be an earthquake, a nuclear event, bombing from a regional war, or even a supernatural event that is without explanation. There are many possibilities.
I continue to watch Israel because I believe that the little nation, created by a covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is God’s timepiece.

Wings of the Wind 
It is amazing the way Hezbollah and others are taking over countries with well established leaders, and replacing them with muslim extremists, like in Egypt, and soon Syria. Meanwhile,Obumer wants Congress to ok his spending bill for another idiotic foray into yet another country that really does not want us except for aid.
It is tragic the wholesale slaughter of women, children. I find it hard to believe these people of the Muslim faith just sit back and condone the slaughter of these people. Nations like Saudi Arabia,
Yemen, Libya, Algeria, Sudan, Pakistan, Oman, Ethiopia all pretty much Muslim run. Eventually,they will all be radical Muslim extremists. Next stop, Europe almost all there now.
In reality they are funding them.
I’ve heard that Hezbollah has close to 60,000 rockets aimed at Israel. The muslim extremists like the muslim brotherhood continue to bolster their rosters.
It is hard to believe that the countries you’ve mentioned sit back and watch the slaughter of so many. Islam is growing throughout Europe. The only country that I think has made an effort to stop Islam’s infiltration is Australia.
What can be done?
I think that there will eventually be a war where Israel will expand its borders. The Muslims will be driven back and a great number of them will not survive.
I have gotten these ideas from others who have found Biblical prophecies for such thinking.
God knows what will happen. I think we will see some “fireworks” in our lifetime, possibly a war in Israel and the region.
Until then, we study, pray, and watch.
